With an aim to attract much more foreigners to Cambodia, the government decided to launch e-visa with which applicants no longer go to Cambodia Embassy to apply visa – they just need fill in the e-form and get all via internet. You need to prepare the documents as follows:
• A Passport Photocopy
• 1 photos (3 x 4 cm)
• US$ 20 Cash for tourist visa fee (Paid directly to the Immigration at the land border or airport)

The ports of entry below are the places you can get visa stamped:
+ By land: Aranyapathet-Poipet and Trat-Koh Kong Border of Thailand and Moc Bai – Bavet Border of Vietnam are the land borders in which travelers can get visa stamped to go to Cambodia legally.
+ By Air: Pochentong Airport in Phnompenh and Siemreap Airport (Angkor Wat Region) are the international airport you should go to get the visa fully in your hand.

Also you should notice that the longest visa validity you can stay in Cambodia is 3 months from the date of issue, NOT from the date of entry.

In case you want to prolong your stay in Cambodia, it is better to extend your visa at the Department of Immigration located in front of the Pochentong Airport. The visa may be extended for 30 days at the cost will depend on the type of visa you want to extend.

In addition, the visa exemption might be attract you if you come from some Asia countries, such as, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore.

Moreover, if you want to have the visa in advance, you can apply visa at the following addresses: Afghanistan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nigeria. The requirements you should prepare are letter of sponsor from his/her company, Return air ticket to/from Cambodia, One photocopy of ID card.

It might be said that these above information are quite enough to give you the general overview of visa to Cambodia. It seems to be the lodestar for those who go to Cambodia the first time.
